Master Warrant Officer Rob Parsons was born on June 25, 1972, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. After graduating from high school, he began an extraordinary 35-year career of service with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals, Canadian Army, serving from 1990 until his retirement in 2025.

Throughout his distinguished military career, Rob served as a Signal Operator and took on a variety of important assignments, including service with the United Nations and the Prime Minister’s Office. His final posting was with the 5th Canadian Division in Halifax, where he served as Chief Communication Operator.

Following his retirement from the Canadian Armed Forces, Rob settled in Mira Gut, Nova Scotia, with his family. After more than three decades of dedicated service to Canada, he now enjoys a well-earned retirement and the opportunity to spend more quality time with his spouse and grandchildren.

Master Warrant Officer Rob Parsons’ 35 years of service reflect a remarkable commitment to duty, country, and family. His contributions to the Canadian Armed Forces are recognized with gratitude, pride, and respect.
